Description

  • Deliver features independently across Angular front-end applications and Node.js/Express APIs.
  • Own small goals within broader initiatives and contribute to investigations and unknowns with Senior oversight.
  • Build responsive, accessible user interfaces using Angular and modern component patterns.
  • Work with PostgreSQL by writing queries, migrations, and data models.
  • Estimate your own work with Senior review and flag unknowns as they arise.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
  • Support rapid prototyping efforts and experiment with new technologies and AI tools.
  • Grow into greater ownership over time by anticipating risks and reducing reliance on review.

Requirements

  • Must live in Canada and be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Professional experience in full stack development with a track record of delivering scoped tasks independently.
  • Solid grasp of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience building web applications with Angular or a similar modern front-end framework.
  • Experience building or working with RESTful APIs in Node.js/Express or a comparable stack.
  • Comfortable working with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
  • Comfortable with Git and pull request workflows.
  • Some exposure to cloud platforms, especially AWS.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
  • Self-directed and effective in a remote environment.
  • Experience working on growth- or acquisition-focused product teams is a plus.
  • Experience with monorepo tooling and modern build systems is a plus.
  • Some exposure to Python and Flask is a plus.
  • Interest in fintech, real estate, or the mortgage industry is a plus.
