Description

  • Take ownership of projects from requirements gathering through design, implementation, testing, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, customers, engineering teams, and R&D to shape product features and improve the user experience.
  • Design and build high-performance, low-latency systems and APIs for Admin Platform services such as authentication, users, settings, and configurations.
  • Use customer feedback and data analysis to define and deliver features that support forecasting and business decision-making.
  • Follow software design and development best practices and help promote them within the team.
  • Document design decisions and operational knowledge needed to deploy and operate services successfully.
  • Ensure code quality and efficiency through appropriate test coverage, integration testing, and load testing.
  • Set up and maintain robust alerting, dashboards, and runbooks for production services.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience working on backend systems in an enterprise environment.
  • 2+ years of programming experience in Python 2.x/3.x, Scala, or Java.
  • Experience with SOA, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience with scalable web application stacks, including messaging brokers, in-memory storage, and key-value databases.
  • Strong knowledge of TDD, unit testing, and automated testing paradigms.
  • Experience with SQL and RDBMS solutions.
  • Experience with containerized applications, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Possess a DevOps mindset; AWS experience is a plus.
  • Experience with LLMs is a plus.
  • Experience with large-scale data processing using Spark is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
