Description

  • Lead end-to-end technical implementation of major mobile features from concept to production on the App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Break down product requirements into technical specifications and implementation tasks.
  • Architect mobile features that are scalable and aligned with the broader mobile architecture.
  • Ensure the application remains fast and stable by proactively monitoring performance and fixing bugs.
  • Maintain high test coverage for contributions and write unit and integration tests.
  • Write and maintain native Swift/Kotlin code when needed to bridge React Native with platform-specific APIs.
  • Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
  • Collaborate with Backend Engineers to define API contracts.
  • Work with Platform Engineers to improve mobile CI/CD pipelines.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Designers to refine requirements and advocate for high-quality UI/UX.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with deep professional experience building and deploying mobile applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of React Native and TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with iOS/Swift and Android/Kotlin, including build tools, native modules, and debugging native crashes.
  • Experience with state management, navigation libraries, native module integration, and functional programming principles.
  • Comfort writing unit and integration tests using tools such as Jest and Detox.
  • Ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
  • Experience conducting thorough code reviews.
  • Strong product mindset and focus on end-user experience.
  • Ability to communicate technical trade-offs effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
