Description

  • Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters and deploy applications with Helm using an infrastructure-as-code approach.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify platform pain points and operational problems.
  • Develop new tools and frameworks to improve data platform capabilities.
  • Design, develop, and manage CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • Monitor infrastructure and troubleshoot issues using observability tools.
  • Implement security best practices and support compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to teammates.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms.
  • Experience provisioning infrastructure and managing configurations with Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS data lake services such as Glue and Athena.
  • Linux troubleshooting experience, including Bash, Python, or Perl scripting.
  • Familiarity with multiple Linux distributions, including Debian, Ubuntu, and RHEL.
  • Experience developing automation for CI/CD pipelines, especially with Jenkins.
  • Kafka knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Customer-centric and empathetic mindset with the ability to focus on simple solutions and fast results.
  • Desire to learn and coach junior team members.
