Description

Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and responsive website layouts from design concepts.
Build and update websites on CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, or Shopify.
Customize themes and templates using HTML, CSS, and light JavaScript.
Manage plugins, widgets, integrations, and other CMS-related functionality.
Ensure websites are optimized for performance, accessibility, mobile responsiveness, SEO, and conversions.
Run speed audits and make improvements using tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, or Lighthouse.
Test websites across devices, screen sizes, and browsers to identify and resolve bugs, formatting issues, and plugin conflicts.
Collaborate with marketing, content, and development teams to align website updates with campaigns and business goals.
Incorporate stakeholder feedback into revisions while maintaining design integrity.
Keep design assets organized and maintain CMS security and platform updates.

Requirements

2+ years of professional website design experience.
Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
Experience building and customizing sites on at least one CMS such as WordPress, Webflow, or Squarespace.
Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Experience designing for e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce (preferred).
Basic JavaScript or front-end development skills (preferred).
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and SEO optimization (preferred).
Industry experience with B2B SaaS, marketing agencies, or e-commerce brands (preferred).
Ability to work full-time, remotely, during U.S. client business hours with flexibility for deadlines and client reviews.
