Description

  • Design, build, and maintain production-grade full-stack web applications.
  • Develop secure backend services and REST APIs using Python and FastAPI.
  • Build responsive frontend interfaces for dashboards, forms, and workflow-heavy experiences.
  • Own end-to-end application architecture, including data models, service boundaries, and technical direction.
  • Implement third-party integrations, background processing, and asynchronous workflows.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and Claude Code to speed coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
  • Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Ensure strong security, validation, error handling, and data integrity for sensitive financial information.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholders through sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions.
  • Document architecture decisions, implementation details, risks, and blockers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional full stack software engineering experience.
  • Strong expertise with Python, FastAPI, and REST API development.
  • Experience designing, building, and shipping production applications.
  • Strong frontend development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience building workflow-driven or form-heavy applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Cursor, Claude Code, or other AI-assisted development tools.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases, Git, and API integrations.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience in FinTech, tax software, compliance platforms, or financial systems is preferred.
  • Experience building highly secure applications and scalable software architecture is preferred.
