Description

  • Design, build, and maintain production-grade full-stack web applications.
  • Develop secure backend services and REST APIs using Python and FastAPI.
  • Build responsive frontend interfaces for dashboards, forms, and workflow-heavy experiences.
  • Own end-to-end application architecture, including data models and service boundaries.
  • Drive technical decisions to improve scalability, maintainability, reliability, and performance.
  • Implement third-party integrations, background processing, and asynchronous workflows.
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools such as Cursor and Claude Code throughout development, testing, and documentation.
  • Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Ensure secure handling of sensitive data through validation, authentication, authorization, and error handling.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholders in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional full stack software engineering experience.
  • Strong expertise with Python, FastAPI, and REST API development.
  • Experience designing, building, and shipping production applications.
  • Strong frontend development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience building workflow-driven or form-heavy applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Cursor, Claude Code, or other AI-assisted development tools.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases, Git, and API integrations.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience in FinTech, tax software, compliance platforms, or financial systems (preferred).
  • Experience designing scalable, highly secure software architecture (preferred).
