Description

  • Build, maintain, and expand end-to-end automation using Playwright and TypeScript.
  • Develop scalable frameworks for critical product workflows and increase frontend and backend regression coverage.
  • Write reliable, reusable, and maintainable automated tests.
  • Identify and eliminate flaky tests while improving test execution speed and framework stability.
  • Troubleshoot DOM interactions, asynchronous behavior, network requests, and test failures.
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and support reliable deployments.
  • Maintain test environments and test data strategies.
  • Partner with frontend and backend engineers on feature development, release planning, and testing strategy.
  • Use AI tools to improve exploratory testing and automation workflows.
  • Continuously improve automation coverage, reliability, and engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
  • Hands-on Playwright experience; Cypress experience is acceptable with willingness to transition.
  • Experience building and maintaining end-to-end automation frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of DOM interactions, asynchronous behavior, network requests, and flaky-test debugging.
  • Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience building automation frameworks from scratch is preferred.
  • Knowledge of test data management, B2B SaaS or multi-tenant application testing, and role-based access testing is preferred.
  • Experience with AI-assisted testing tools or startup and product-led environments is preferred.
