Description

  • Analyze requirements, specifications, and product functionality to create quality control artifacts.
  • Design, develop, execute, refactor, and optimize automated tests using appropriate tools and approaches.
  • Build and maintain test data, environments, documentation, test cases, and test plans.
  • Implement testing across planned levels, evaluate results, and document deviations from expected outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain API, backend, frontend, and end-to-end automation coverage.
  • Integrate, monitor, administer, and manage automation scripts within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Define and improve QA processes, testing standards, metrics, coverage analysis, and test effort estimates.
  • Review test artifacts, measure system or component performance, and contribute to overall project quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with customers, engineers, and product stakeholders on specifications, acceptance criteria, scenarios, and quality strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software testing experience across manual and automated testing.
  • Strong API and end-to-end test automation experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks for API and backend testing.
  • Practical experience using AI/LLM tools for test design, case generation, code generation, refactoring, debugging, and maintenance.
  • Experience defining quality strategy and establishing QA processes, testing standards, and test management practices in greenfield environments.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and extending coverage from backend services to frontend applications.
  • Strong understanding of test architecture, mocking strategies, and test data management.
  • Senior quality engineering mindset with ownership of overall product quality; strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Self-directed and proactive, with the ability to work independently in a greenfield environment.
  • Advanced Spanish and upper-intermediate English; familiarity with AI agents, MCP, hooks, and agentic automation workflows is preferred.
