Description

  • Build and maintain E2E automated tests with Playwright and TypeScript.
  • Expand coverage across critical user journeys, product workflows, and regression scenarios.
  • Develop reusable test utilities, fixtures, patterns, and automation components.
  • Improve framework maintainability, scalability, reliability, and execution speed.
  • Diagnose and reduce flaky tests involving DOM interactions, network requests, asynchronous behavior, timing, and test environments.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot pipeline failures.
  • Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers on testability, release readiness, regression prevention, and automation architecture.
  • Use AI-assisted tools for exploratory testing, edge-case identification, test development, and debugging.
  • Identify quality risks before releases and provide technical feedback on defects and automation issues.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
  • Hands-on Playwright experience; strong Cypress experience with willingness to transition may also be considered.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining E2E automation frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of DOM interactions, network requests, asynchronous behavior, test synchronization, and flaky-test diagnosis.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and automation reliability skills.
  • Experience improving regression coverage and developing test-data or environment strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate directly with software engineers in a modern product environment.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment; B2B SaaS, multi-tenant, role-based permissions, Agile, or AI-assisted testing experience is preferred.
