Description

  • Draft and prepare contracts, pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and corporate governance documents.
  • Conduct legal research using Westlaw and LexisNexis and deliver concise research memos.
  • Prepare deposition summaries, exhibits, and trial binders for hearings and trial.
  • Track litigation calendars, filing deadlines, and discovery timelines to keep matters on schedule.
  • Review commercial agreements, summarize key terms, and flag legal risks for attorney review.
  • Support regulatory filings, licensing matters, and compliance documentation, including GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX.
  • Maintain organized, accurate, secure, and audit-ready legal files in Clio, Relativity, and iManage.
  • Support e-discovery and document review, including organizing and managing discovery materials.
  • Communicate with clients to collect documents and information and provide case updates as needed.
  • Assist attorneys with research, drafting, and overall case execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate.
  • 3+ years of professional paralegal experience.
  • Strong experience with Westlaw and/or LexisNexis.
  • Hands-on drafting experience with litigation and corporate documents.
  • Experience with Clio, Relativity, and/or iManage.
  • Strong understanding of litigation processes and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong legal writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Trial preparation experience is preferred.
  • Corporate law exposure, including entity formation, board resolutions, and governance documentation, is preferred.
  • Experience with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX is preferred.
  • Advanced e-discovery and document review experience is preferred.
