Description

  • Facilitate Zoom deposition sessions with professionalism and warmth.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues for participants, including audio and screen-sharing problems.
  • Maintain audio quality to support accurate transcription in Depositions by Filevine software.
  • Administer oaths and manage on-the-record and off-the-record segments during proceedings.
  • Follow established procedural scripts and legal prompts to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Support a seamless legal process by handling procedural steps during remote proceedings.
  • Maintain confidentiality and a composed, professional presence throughout each session.

Requirements

  • Active Notary Public license in West Virginia.
  • Strong internet connection and access to a quiet, professional workspace.
  • Video-enabled computer with the necessary software capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Availability to work standard business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time.
  • Familiarity with Zoom or other video conferencing software.
  • Experience in the legal industry is preferred.
  • This is a 1099 independent contractor role.
