Description

  • Configure, manage, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Implement and support VLANs, QoS, VPN tunnels, ACLs, and routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
  • Perform firmware upgrades, device patching, and other infrastructure maintenance tasks.
  • Support network expansion projects, migrations, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Monitor network performance and uptime using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, or Zabbix.
  • Investigate and resolve latency, packet loss, DNS, routing, and connectivity issues.
  • Troubleshoot escalated incidents using tools such as Wireshark and TCPdump.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and implement preventive fixes for recurring issues.
  • Respond to critical outages and provide on-call support for incidents when needed.
  • Maintain network diagrams, topology maps, SOPs, and runbooks, and document changes using structured change management processes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional network engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies and infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
  • Experience configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN environments.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Experience with Cisco environments or equivalent enterprise networking platforms.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and QoS.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications preferred.
  • Experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Juniper environments preferred.
  • Experience with AWS VPCs, Azure VNets, or hybrid cloud networking preferred.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Python, Ansible, or Terraform preferred.
  • Experience supporting multi-site enterprise environments preferred.
  • Exposure to Zero Trust networking models and advanced security frameworks preferred.
