Description

  • Serve as the first point of contact for tenant inquiries regarding rent, lease terms, maintenance requests, and property policies.
  • Maintain timely communication with tenants, vendors, and property owners and document interactions in property management systems.
  • Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, lease renewals, tenant notices, and related leasing administration tasks.
  • Draft, process, and manage lease agreements, amendments, renewals, and notices using digital signature and leasing tools.
  • Assist with property marketing, tenant pre-screening, showings, and application document collection.
  • Monitor rent payments, follow up on late balances, apply late fees, and support collections communication.
  • Prepare delinquency reports, owner statements, financial summaries, and reconcile deposits, refunds, and security deposits.
  • Create, assign, and manage maintenance work orders, coordinate vendors and contractors, and verify completion of work.
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready tenant and property files and support compliance with Fair Housing and landlord-tenant regulations.
  • Support Property Managers with reporting, portfolio coordination, KPI tracking, administrative projects, and issue escalation.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in property management, leasing, or real estate operations.
  • Hands-on experience with property management software such as Yardi, AppFolio, or Buildium.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with lease agreements, Fair Housing standards, and landlord-tenant regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred: experience supporting portfolios of 100+ units.
  • Preferred: exposure to residential, commercial, or mixed-use property management.
  • Preferred: understanding of property accounting, owner reporting, and reconciliation processes.
  • Preferred: experience coordinating vendors and maintenance operations remotely, including familiarity with multi-state landlord-tenant laws and compliance standards.
