Description

  • Deliver customer service through phone, live chat, and email interactions.
  • Provide software support for accounting, payroll, and tax-related inquiries.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams to share feedback for product improvements.
  • Continuously learn new software features and accounting and payroll best practices.
  • Work independently while collaborating remotely with teammates and attending meetings as needed.
  • Handle sensitive customer information securely and follow data protection protocols.
  • Document customer interactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Guide customers on new product features and software functionality.
  • Adapt quickly to changing duties and priorities to support customer needs.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment for approximately 80% of the day.
  • Comfort with technology and ability to quickly learn new software and tools.
  • Ability to securely handle sensitive customer information and follow data protection protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate, timely documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once, including calls, emails, and chats.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of 8+ hours while working on a computer.
  • Consistent, reliable high-speed internet access.
  • Dedicated, quiet workspace free from distractions.
  • Working knowledge of USA-based payroll and payroll tax is preferred.
  • Experience with CRM software is preferred.
  • Familiarity with payroll or accounting software is preferred.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • This role is not open to candidates residing in Alaska, California, Hawaii, or Washington D.C.

Benefits

  • Full-time, direct-hire remote position.
  • Hourly non-exempt compensation at $20.00 per hour.
  • Core schedule of 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday.
