Description

  • Operate a state-of-the-art multi-robotic welding system.
  • Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies.
  • Track inventory of parts and completed assemblies accurately.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automation equipment and cells.
  • Record data for engineers to support issue resolution.
  • Monitor cell performance and part fit-up closely.
  • Operate specialized machines integrated with customer operations.
  • Read engineering drawings, assembly diagrams, electrical schematics, and blueprints.
  • Service and maintain pneumatic systems, welding equipment, robotics, and electrical automation devices.
  • Integrate autonomous welding cells into customer manufacturing processes.
  • Learn internal Forge processes and operate cells using command prompts and code changes.
  • Interface with customers to ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
  • Coordinate with engineering resources to troubleshoot issues.
  • Inspect, clean, and replace electrical and mechanical components.
  • Adapt quickly to changing operational needs.

Requirements

  • Technical training, trade school certification, associate degree in Engineering Technology, BS in Engineering, or related industry experience.
  • Hands-on experience in design, assembly, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems, preferably manufacturing equipment.
  • Some welding experience; welding certifications are not required.
  • Experience in a fabrication or machine shop environment.
  • Comfort with learning programming languages.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience working with small and fragile components.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
  • Adaptability to changing needs and priorities.
  • Experience with manufacturing equipment is preferred.
