Description

  • Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for containerized applications.
  • Use infrastructure-as-code tools including Terraform, Helm, Flux, and Git to manage Azure resources and Kubernetes configurations.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.
  • Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate operational tasks and workflows.
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
  • Apply security best practices in Azure and Kubernetes environments, including RBAC and network policies.
  • Collaborate with Software Engineers, Security Specialists, QA, IT teams, and engineering leadership to support application deployment and operations.
  • Develop backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical systems and resources.
  • Support cloud infrastructure reliability, scalability, and performance through troubleshooting and operational improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of DevOps experience with Microsoft Azure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, especially AKS, along with Flux, Helm, Terraform, and container management best practices.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation and resource management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure resources and DevOps tools for deployment and operations.
  • Basic NoSQL database knowledge, with MongoDB preferred, for data retrieval and troubleshooting.
  • Foundational networking knowledge, including DNS, VPNs, load balancing, SSL/TLS, and reverse proxies.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices.
  • Experience with Flux or Argo for GitOps and continuous delivery is preferred.
  • Golang knowledge for backend service development is preferred; C# is the primary language.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights is preferred.
  • Experience managing Windows Server environments, including maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL) and Entra ID for authentication and identity access on Azure is preferred.
  • Must reside in an eligible U.S. state for fully remote work at time of hire.
