Description

  • Write automation code for mobile applications using Appium and Selenium.
  • Capture test data, analyze mobile application behavior, and create customer-facing dashboards.
  • Assist customers with automation where applicable and help them get value from HeadSpin.
  • Build tooling to automate interactions with Android and iOS applications and UI structures.
  • Develop and evolve production-grade web services and agents in Python and Tornado.
  • Maintain automation test frameworks and existing testing codebases to ensure continuous product quality.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and testers to develop rigorous test cases.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs thoroughly.
  • Ensure the quality of code and products produced by the company.
  • Work as part of a highly motivated team focused on mobile testing.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

  • BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
  • 0-2 years of hands-on experience in software development or SQA.
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Python or Java.
  • Strong skills with MySQL or other databases, including the ability to read and write SQL queries.
  • Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • General knowledge of Appium or Selenium.
  • Proficiency with automation testing tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Android and/or iOS development experience.
  • Agile/Scrum experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with engineers and content creators.
  • Appium Pro certification is expected to be obtained.
  • Familiarity with mobile frameworks like Espresso and XCTest.
  • Deep knowledge of Appium and Appium Desktop internals is preferred.
