Description

  • Develop new software features and enhancements using SOLID design principles.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code based on specifications.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Customer Success to understand needs and deliver solutions.
  • Troubleshoot system and customer issues and identify both short-term and long-term fixes.
  • Increase unit test coverage and automate manual tasks where possible.
  • Participate in code reviews and create technical documentation.
  • Champion best practices in day-to-day engineering work.
  • Lead technical projects to evolve products for future growth.
  • Support other software engineers through coaching, advice, and educational opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience developing SaaS and/or eCommerce web applications.
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with modern multi-paradigm languages, including PHP (preferred), Ruby, Java, or Python.
  • Demonstrable experience with ES6 and TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of browser-based UI development with React and/or Angular.
  • Experience with a cloud environment, preferably AWS.
  • Experience with relational databases and data modeling, preferably MySQL.
  • Experience with software engineering best practices across the full development cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for learning and adopting new technologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and with minimal supervision.
