Description

  • Lead construction projects from initiation to completion with a focus on safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinate project execution to meet cost, quality, and schedule objectives.
  • Manage on-site client and subcontractor relationships to support project deliverables.
  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project progress.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project team members.
  • Report project status and progress updates to leadership regularly.
  • Collaborate with customers and safety/quality personnel to maintain compliance throughout execution.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of experience in substation electrical construction.
  • At least 3 years of direct supervision experience.
  • Trade licensing preferred, or willingness to obtain it.
  • Familiarity with commercial terms, substation construction practices, and legal standards.
  • Strong understanding of substation installation, maintenance, and repair processes.
  • Ability to communicate information effectively.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite for project management tasks.
  • Ability to maintain quality standards while managing high work volumes.
  • Previous electrical project management experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel and stay near the construction site.
