Description

  • Contribute to Panorama’s product evolution by crafting experiences for educators and students alongside senior designers.
  • Support the design and exploration of AI-integrated workflows that make data-driven decision-making more efficient and approachable.
  • Participate in user interviews, usability tests, and synthesis sessions to inform design decisions.
  • Create user flows, high-fidelity UI, and AI-powered prototypes, then refine them based on feedback and user data.
  • Present design work and rationale to cross-functional stakeholders and incorporate constructive feedback.
  • Build empathy for K–12 users, including teachers, counselors, principals, and district leaders, and apply it to design decisions.
  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other team members on real product challenges.
  • Take ownership of features that are intended to ship during the fellowship.
  • Learn from a senior design mentor through ongoing feedback and collaboration.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of professional or internship design experience; recent graduates are welcome.
  • A portfolio demonstrating visual and interaction design sensibility.
  • Proficiency in Figma, or clear momentum toward proficiency.
  • Experience using AI tools in a design workflow, such as Figma Make, ChatGPT, or other generative tools.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to ask thoughtful questions and collaborate effectively.
  • Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and grow as a designer.
  • Interest in working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values innovation.
