Description

  • Write and optimize website copy and landing pages that improve clarity, engagement, and conversion.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to translate product and ICP insights into high-performing content across channels.
  • Use performance data and user behavior to iterate on content and improve results over time.
  • Develop customer case studies by conducting interviews and documenting business outcomes and differentiation.
  • Translate customer success stories into sales enablement and campaign assets.
  • Own the Panopto blog and ebooks, with an emphasis on Higher Education trends and thought leadership.
  • Create campaign, social media, email, and nurture content that supports campaign narratives and conversion goals.
  • Collaborate with a performance agency to improve search visibility across traditional search and AI-generated results.
  • Work closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Brand/Digital teams to align messaging and quality.
  • Identify gaps in the company story and proactively propose content improvements.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience writing for B2B SaaS or sophisticated software audiences, ideally in EdTech or Higher Education.
  • A strong portfolio showing both short-form content, such as headlines, and long-form narratives, such as customer stories.
  • Experience interviewing customers and drawing out compelling story angles and business insights.
  • Understanding of SEO and AEO (AI Engine Optimization) best practices.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple workstreams, and stay organized in a cross-functional environment.
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Semrush, and GA4.
  • Experience working with or briefing a performance marketing agency.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex product and market ideas into clear narratives.
  • A customer-centric mindset and the ability to reflect the customer voice in content.
  • A data-informed approach to using performance metrics to refine content and strategy.
