Description

  • Drive the long-term technical strategy for the Document Domain, balancing product needs, scalability, reliability, and developer experience.
  • Champion AI-driven development workflows and improve engineering productivity and quality.
  • Mentor engineers and support their technical growth across the company.
  • Lead cross-team initiatives to deliver document capabilities and align architecture and engineering practices across the track.
  • Contribute to the long-term domain excellence strategy, including AI transformation of the development workflow.
  • Improve reliability and maintain high-quality standards for the document platform.
  • Enhance developer experience and evolve the platform to support new product capabilities.
  • Collaborate with other tracks to deliver product solutions with technical excellence.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of development experience with Python.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, including SQL, migrations, and optimization.
  • Experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ, NATS, or Kafka.
  • Experience with event-driven systems, DDD fundamentals, and asynchronous programming.
  • Fluent with AI workflows for development to improve personal and team productivity.
  • Experience mentoring other engineers.
  • Ability to work on domain strategy and make one-year technical plans.
  • Good understanding of the full development cycle from requirements analysis and deployment to application monitoring.
  • Extensive hands-on experience developing applications.
  • Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly in English, verbally and in writing.
  • Experience with Django and a microservice architecture around a monolithic application (preferred).
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, Memcached, and Grafana monitoring tools (preferred).
