Description

  • Contribute to the vision and architecture of the Document domain, a key component of the application.
  • Own and improve core functionality for document creation, editing, and management.
  • Solve scale-related technical challenges across the platform.
  • Identify and address systemic issues to keep developer change velocity high and reduce risk.
  • Improve reliability, quality standards, and performance of the document platform.
  • Enhance developer experience for teams working on the document domain.
  • Support the evolution of the platform to enable new product capabilities.
  • Contribute to long-term domain excellence strategy.
  • Work within a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of development experience with Python.
  • Experience with relational databases, including SQL queries, migrations, and optimization.
  • Solid experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ, NATS, or Kafka.
  • Understanding of event-based systems and basic Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with AsyncIO.
  • Good understanding of the development cycle from requirements analysis through deployment and application monitoring.
  • Extensive experience developing applications in both monolithic and microservice architectures.
  • Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Experience with Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, Memcached, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, NATS, and Grafana stack is relevant to the role.
