Description

  • Define and own the end-to-end architecture for web and mobile applications across front-end, back-end, integration, and infrastructure layers.
  • Translate business and product requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
  • Partner with UX/UI designers to support seamless, intuitive, and accessible user experiences.
  • Establish architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices across digital platforms.
  • Lead technology evaluations and provide build-vs-buy recommendations for frameworks, tools, and platforms.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams to ensure consistent implementation of architectural designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Design to align solutions with business goals.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, performance audits, and risk assessments across projects.
  • Drive adoption of modern development practices including microservices, API-first design, responsive/adaptive design, CI/CD, and cloud-native architecture.
  • Support pre-sales, client presentations, and stakeholder discussions with architectural vision and technical thought leadership.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in software architecture, with a strong focus on web and mobile platforms.
  • Proven track record of architecting and delivering large-scale, high-traffic web and mobile applications end-to-end.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and the ability to bridge technical architecture with design thinking.
  • Hands-on expertise with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Experience with mobile development approaches including native, hybrid, or cross-platform solutions such as React Native or Flutter.
  • Solid experience with back-end architecture, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms, especially Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards such as WCAG, and cross-browser/device compatibility.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile/Scrum software development lifecycles.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills for non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring engineering teams and driving architectural governance.
  • Experience working in consulting, digital agency, or product organizations delivering for enterprise clients is preferred.
  • Familiarity with design systems and component libraries is preferred.
  • Exposure to performance optimization, security architecture, and scalability planning for high-traffic platforms is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS/Azure Solutions Architect or TOGAF are a plus.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
