Description

  • Prepare and review Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, proxy materials, financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A.
  • Maintain the company’s SEC reporting tools.
  • Coordinate with departments and managers to gather information for timely, accurate disclosures.
  • Research and draft technical accounting memos for complex transactions, including ASC 606 revenue recognition and debt/equity classification.
  • Monitor emerging FASB and SEC standards, leading impact assessments and implementation.
  • Support the SOX/ICFR program, including preparation for SOX 404(b), control design, and testing.
  • Serve as a key contact for external auditors during quarterly reviews and the annual audit.
  • Draft and maintain formal accounting policies.
  • Support the close process for complex or judgmental accounting areas.
  • Partner with FP&A, Legal, and Investor Relations on disclosure matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA license preferred.
  • 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally combining Big Four or large national public accounting and industry/SEC reporting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Experience researching and documenting technical accounting positions.
  • Public company experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with disclosure management tools such as Workiva and XBRL preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite and FloQast preferred.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex accounting matters into clear, defensible memos.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment and facilitate group meetings.
