Description

  • Edit short-form social content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook videos to drive engagement, watch-time, and shares.
  • Use Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition to produce polished video content.
  • Maintain each client’s brand look and feel by matching style, pacing, tone, colour grading, and transitions to supplied briefs.
  • Create and enhance social graphics, overlays, thumbnails, captions, and photo assets when required.
  • Select relevant background music and audio tracks that are trending, platform-friendly, and on-brand.
  • Produce 15–60 second reels that hook viewers within the first 2–3 seconds and sustain attention.
  • Organize media assets, edits, revisions, versions, and exports in a structured folder system and deliver files on time.
  • Collaborate with the creative director, copywriters, and project managers to refine edits based on feedback and ensure consistent quality.
  • Optimise edited videos for each platform format and prepare organised, labelled project files and exports.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience editing social-first video content.
  • Proven experience working with Western brands or Western audiences.
  • Strong portfolio of social media reels, short-form edits, and creative video content.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition.
  • Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, trending editing styles, and platform nuances.
  • Ability to perform photo editing and basic graphic design for social posts.
  • Understanding of music licensing, audio levels, and platform-appropriate track selection.
  • Ability to follow creative briefs accurately and work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Portfolio link or examples of best social video work, especially Instagram, TikTok, or Shorts clips.
