Description

  • Design and implement entity resolution and ontology population within established graph schemas.
  • Write and optimize graph queries for traversal and feature extraction.
  • Build pipelines to extract structured knowledge from calls, emails, CRM notes, and other unstructured sales data.
  • Run experiments to compare approaches and improve extraction and model accuracy.
  • Implement graph traversal logic and feature queries that support deal risk, next-best-action, and coaching recommendations.
  • Train and evaluate link prediction and node classification models using graph embedding methods.
  • Develop evaluation pipelines and track model performance over time.
  • Translate sales concepts into graph nodes and relationships and contribute to ontology design and documentation.
  • Work with software engineers to deploy models and pipelines into production.
  • Write clean, tested code, monitor system health, respond to incidents, and participate in code reviews and design discussions.

Requirements

  • PhD in Computer Science, NLP, Machine Learning, or a related field with focus areas such as knowledge representation and reasoning, information extraction, relation extraction, graph neural networks, recommendation systems, or conversation AI and dialogue systems.
  • MS plus 2 years of relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to write production-quality, clean, tested Python code.
  • Experience with graph databases or query languages such as Neo4j, SPARQL, or Cypher.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and evaluate ML models using appropriate metrics.
  • Track record of building systems beyond prototypes, including awareness of monitoring, data drift, latency, and operational excellence.
  • Strong ownership and ability to take end-to-end responsibility for research and model development initiatives with minimal oversight.
  • Good communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to engineers and product managers.
  • Eagerness to learn and build deep expertise in knowledge graphs and applied NLP under senior mentorship.
  • Hands-on experience applying knowledge graphs or graph-based learning methods to real-world data in production, preferred.
  • Strong fundamentals in at least two of: knowledge graph construction, information extraction, graph neural networks, or recommender systems, preferred.
  • Experience working with large-scale unstructured text data such as conversational transcripts or email, preferred.
  • Experience with probabilistic graphical models, conversational AI, or sales/revenue domain data, preferred.
  • Published research at top-tier venues, preferred.
