Description

  • Own and drive full‑cycle recruiting for Hardware and related roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates.
  • Recruit for roles such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Firmware, Systems Engineering, Materials Engineering, and Sensing.
  • Build and maintain robust talent pipelines using creative, multi‑channel sourcing strategies for short‑term hiring and long‑term workforce planning.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers, executives, and cross‑functional stakeholders to understand technical requirements, team structure, and role expectations and translate them into tailored recruiting strategies and interview plans.
  • Screen and assess candidates for technical rigor, hands‑on engineering experience, manufacturing readiness, and product mindset (user impact, collaboration, problem‑solving).
  • Act as a strategic advisor to stakeholders, providing pipeline health updates, market insights, leveling guidance, and hiring progress.
  • Use data, judgment, and storytelling to influence hiring decisions and improve funnel quality and speed.
  • Partner with the broader recruiting team and People Operations to build efficient, scalable, and inclusive hiring processes, support organizational design, and enable intentional internal mobility.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and tools to increase recruiter efficiency and improve hiring outcomes while ensuring a best‑in‑class candidate experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments.
  • Background recruiting in consumer technology (wearables, IoT, medical devices, or hardware‑enabled platforms) with a proven ability to close senior and highly specialized technical talent.
  • Strong understanding of hardware and firmware roles, including how to evaluate hands‑on engineering experience, design tradeoffs, and manufacturing readiness.
  • Experience with ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse) and sourcing tools (e.g., GEM) and a track record of driving process improvements.
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding hiring goals and building trusted partnerships with hiring managers and senior leaders.
  • Experience coaching hiring managers and supporting long‑term, strategic hiring plans.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, balance multiple priorities, and partner closely with senior leaders.
  • This is a remote US role (6‑month fixed term with possible extension); Oura is not considering candidates residing in AK, DE, IA, MS, NE, SD, WV, or WI.
