Description

  • Advise leaders, managers, and employees on organizational design, talent, performance, compensation, and employee relations.
  • Own and improve end-to-end HR operations and lifecycle processes for Finland+.
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert on Finnish employment practices and labor law.
  • Translate local employee insights into global People program design and execution.
  • Support complex employee relations cases and partner with Legal and global HR peers to manage risk.
  • Facilitate performance management, calibration, and talent reviews.
  • Safeguard HR data quality and contribute to HRIS and tools projects.
  • Use data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Coach managers and collaborate with global HR teams to build an inclusive, team-first culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, law, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; Master’s, MBA, or HR certification is a plus.
  • 7–10+ years of progressive HR Business Partner and/or HR Operations experience in growing, global, or multi-site organizations.
  • Deep, hands-on knowledge of Finnish employment and labor law, including collective agreements, continuous dialogue requirements, working time rules, statutory benefits, holiday accrual/pay, GDPR in HR, and core payroll processes.
  • Experience applying labor law in complex situations such as reorganizations, terminations, co-operation procedures, and cross-border arrangements.
  • Proven experience owning and improving HR lifecycle processes and documentation such as SOPs, templates, and policies.
  • Strong understanding of organizational design, talent and performance management, compensation, and change management in an international context.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, HiBob, BambooHR, or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English, written and verbal.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and global stakeholders without formal authority; experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments is preferred.
  • Experience implementing compensation and equity programs in a private company context is a plus; prior HRIS implementation experience and support for employees in other European or Asian countries or EOR models are also preferred.
