Description

  • Design and implement evaluation systems and tooling to validate Oura’s custom AI models and AI Advisor.
  • Develop evaluation methods to measure grounding, reliability, and actionability of LLM and agentic systems.
  • Build and optimize custom AI models through fine-tuning, knowledge distillation, and quantization.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to align research work with practical engineering impact.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce dependence on external AI SaaS providers and accelerate model development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in production AI/ML work.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML/AI frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, including AWS and CDK.
  • Experience with fine-tuning, evaluation frameworks, and deployment of LLMs or agentic systems.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive product vision.
  • Initiative and self-direction in research and scientific exploration.
  • Experience leading AI projects, preferred.
  • Experience building AI agents and deploying them to production, preferred.
  • Experience building multimodal GenAI systems, preferred.
