Description

  • Own direct member support for GDPR/CCPA data subject requests, account and data deletion, and complex identity, login, and privacy issues.
  • Maintain a healthy Data Privacy queue by triaging, routing, and reducing misrouted tickets while meeting SLA targets.
  • Use reports and dashboards to identify patterns in routing issues, defects, and incident trends and turn them into process improvements.
  • Own Data Privacy escalations and incidents, including coordinating with Privacy and Security on reporting, investigation, and member communications.
  • Partner with Privacy, Security, IT, WFM, Analytics, and Support Operations to implement MX Data Privacy roadmap items, tooling changes, and staffing models.
  • Improve routing, macros, knowledge content, and training based on operational insights and quality findings.
  • Support the development and adoption of operational documentation, playbooks, and training content across teams and BPO partners.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in customer support, operations, trust & safety, or a similar role.
  • 2+ years of direct experience with privacy, security, or other regulated workflows such as GDPR/CCPA, incident handling, or data subject requests.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major ticketing platform, such as Zendesk.
  • Experience with collaboration and project tools including Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace, and Slack.
  • Ability to interpret policies and SOPs and translate them into clear internal notes, macros, and member-facing explanations.
  • Experience writing and maintaining SOPs, playbooks, training guides, or similar operational documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with comfort using dashboards or tools like Tableau, Unwrap, or Maestro.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Preferred: direct experience as a Data Privacy or Security specialist in consumer products, health/fitness apps, or other high-sensitivity domains.
  • Preferred: familiarity with GDPR/CCPA concepts such as data subject rights, lawful bases, deletion and retention, and data portability.
  • Preferred: experience with OneTrust or similar systems for DSRs, account deletion, and identity verification flows.
  • Preferred: exposure to HIPAA/MDR considerations, incident response, or enterprise/healthcare partner integrations.
  • Preferred: prior work with BPO or external partner teams on privacy-adjacent queues, including training, QA, and SOP ownership.
