Description

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including physicians, dietitians, nurse practitioners, and health coaches, to deliver coordinated patient care.
  • Provide evidence-based behavioral health interventions tailored to GI patients, including CBT, relaxation strategies, Motivational Interviewing, ACT, psychoeducation, and gut-directed hypnotherapy.
  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments and develop concrete goals that support patients in managing their GI conditions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and health records in the electronic health record system in accordance with company clinical protocols.
  • Participate in clinical coordination meetings with other care team members.
  • Engage in ongoing professional training to maintain licensure and expand knowledge of digestive health conditions.
  • Contribute to the development of psychological best practices and share feedback to improve member experience.
  • Support a digital, integrated healthcare environment that serves adult GI patients with chronic digestive conditions.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or another relevant field.
  • Active California license in good standing to practice therapy, with LPC fully licensed required.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience delivering CBT, relaxation strategies, and Motivational Interviewing.
  • Experience with GI-focused care is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in GI psychology or health psychology is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work alongside physicians, nurse practitioners, health coaches, and registered dietitians.
  • Comfort using common administrative tools such as Zoom, Slack, Office, and Google Drive, or equivalent.
  • Experience charting electronically and delivering care on telehealth platforms is preferred.
  • Must be based in California.
  • Full-time availability is required.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $85,000-$90,000, commensurate with experience, plus annual bonus eligibility.
