Description

  • Hire and manage a team of colleagues, including performance management, growth support, and related HR administrative tasks.
  • Monitor team dashboards and operational KPIs, and use root-cause analysis to create action plans when issues arise.
  • Manage daily team outcomes and make volume-based decisions that best serve customers.
  • Lead team huddles, communicate goals, and provide guidance and motivation to support daily operational performance.
  • Connect the team to Oscar’s mission, vision, and values while fostering engagement and an inclusive team culture.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement efforts that improve production team processes and development.
  • Identify and close gaps in existing operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with production and other Oscar teams to implement best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced operations or customer service environment.
  • 2+ years of direct people management experience.
  • 2+ years of experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience with LEAN practices.
  • 1+ year of experience working with BPO vendors.
  • Experience working with teams across multiple locations and multiple disciplines.
  • Must reside in Georgia.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • Prior healthcare and/or insurance experience (preferred).
  • Advanced Google Suite or Microsoft Office capabilities (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience solving complex inquiries (preferred).
  • 1+ years of experience managing projects (preferred).

  • Base pay of $55,890 to $73,355 per year.
