Description

  • Develop the skills and practices needed to support a best-in-class lean operation and inform future decisions.
  • Anticipate, resolve, and prevent recurring operational problems and roadblocks.
  • Create routines that strengthen cross-functional collaboration inside and outside the department.
  • Establish clarity, stability, and scalability within the area of responsibility.
  • Apply continuous improvement tools and best practices in line with internal and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement core metric tracking and tools for a lean operational environment.
  • Provide direction, mentorship, and influence on process improvement work.
  • Build bench strength and develop organizational talent through goals and accountability.
  • Demonstrate resilience and adaptability while working in ambiguity.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience coaching, developing, managing, and scaling large teams.
  • 5+ years of experience using data and metrics to drive process and program improvements.
  • 4+ years of experience working in a collaborative environment with a diverse group of people.
  • Experience leading and implementing large-scale projects.
  • Experience working with teams across multiple locations and disciplines is preferred.
  • Prior healthcare or health insurance experience is preferred.
  • Experience facilitating, presenting to, and training senior-level leaders is preferred.
  • Experience leading change management is preferred.
  • Advanced Google Suite or Microsoft Office skills are preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience implementing operational excellence methods such as LEAN, Six Sigma, or other improvement frameworks is preferred.
