Description

  • Conduct research to identify potential leads and target accounts.
  • Reach out to prospects via phone, email, and social media to generate interest.
  • Qualify leads by assessing needs and fit with Oscar products and services.
  • Identify and qualify distribution partners (insurance brokers and agencies) to drive sales.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align on lead generation strategies and campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in the CRM system.
  • Represent Oscar products at market events and conferences, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge through training and feedback.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales tools and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of healthcare industry experience in a sales role or sales organization.
  • 2+ years of experience presenting and communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Must be a licensed insurance professional or obtain required license within the first 90 days.
  • Reside in Iowa and work as a field-based remote employee.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience (bonus).
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (preferred).
