Description

  • Support annual QHP filings by ensuring the quality and timeliness of filing inputs through submission and regulator negotiation periods.
  • Resolve low-risk state objections.
  • Project manage and implement internal tracking and monitoring of Regulatory Affairs deliverables related to legislative processes.
  • Coordinate internal working groups by scheduling meetings, intake requests, and ensuring the right stakeholders are involved.
  • Prepare agendas, track action items, and follow up to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain documentation of regulatory objections, state-specific requirements, and reasons for deviations from standard policy.
  • Escalate issues or delays to leadership when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a legal, healthcare-related, or humanities field, or 4 years of commensurate experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in health insurance customer service, claims, appeals, or a Regulatory team.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex documentation.
  • Familiarity with health insurance operations (preferred).
  • Experience with individual market health insurance plans (preferred).
  • Experience working with attorneys and internal stakeholders (preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Tools (preferred).
  • Must reside in Atlanta, GA and work remotely from that location.
