Description

  • Automate prototype environment provisioning and teardown using Kubernetes, GitOps, and Pulumi/Terraform.
  • Manage demo deployments for new initiatives with reliability and observability while preserving rapid iteration.
  • Validate air-gapped, on-prem, and cloud deployment constraints early in development cycles.
  • Build prototype observability using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana with lightweight SLOs.
  • Create infrastructure handoff packages, including deployment specs, Helm charts, and runbooks.
  • Collaborate with the Platform team to align prototypes with platform standards and productization needs.
  • Provision sandboxes quickly to support fast discovery and validation cycles.
  • Prepare infrastructure for smooth transition from prototypes to productization teams.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of SRE or platform engineering experience with Kubernetes/GitOps in production.
  • Experience with rapid environment provisioning, ephemeral deployments, and infrastructure automation.
  • Comfort validating deployability constraints in air-gapped and on-prem environments early in the development cycle.
  • Strong technical writing skills for clear deployment specs and handoff artifacts.
  • Eligible to work in Germany; EU/NATO citizenship preferred.
  • German language proficiency at B1+ level is a nice-to-have.
  • Experience with BSI/ISO compliance is a nice-to-have.
  • Experience with supply chain security tooling such as Cosign and Kyverno is a nice-to-have.
  • Experience with prototype/R&D environments, demo automation, or infrastructure handoff processes is a nice-to-have.
