Description

  • Automate prototype environment provisioning and teardown using Kubernetes, GitOps, Pulumi, or Terraform.
  • Manage demo deployments with reliability and observability while supporting rapid iteration.
  • Validate deployability constraints for air-gapped, on-prem, and cloud environments early in the development cycle.
  • Build prototype observability using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana with lightweight SLOs.
  • Create infrastructure handoff packages, including deployment specs, Helm charts, and runbooks.
  • Collaborate with the Platform team to align prototypes with standards and productization requirements.
  • Provision sandboxes quickly to support fast discovery and validation cycles.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in SRE or platform engineering with Kubernetes and GitOps in production.
  • Experience with rapid environment provisioning, ephemeral deployments, and infrastructure automation.
  • Ability to validate deployability constraints in air-gapped and on-prem environments early in development.
  • Strong technical writing skills for clear deployment specs and handoff artifacts.
  • Eligibility to work in Germany; EU or NATO citizenship preferred.
  • German language proficiency at B1 level or higher (nice to have).
  • Experience with BSI or ISO compliance (nice to have).
  • Experience with supply chain security tooling such as Cosign or Kyverno (nice to have).
  • Experience with prototype, R&D, or demo automation environments (nice to have).
