Description

  • Ship React and TypeScript map workspace features such as layers, annotations, timelines, and overlays.
  • Build APIs that integrate PostGIS, geoprocessing services, and vector and 3D tiles.
  • Develop TypeScript and Python services for spatial and map-based intelligence workflows.
  • Optimize application performance for large datasets and offline workflows through tiling, caching, and packaging.
  • Instrument telemetry and tests for spatial services.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for spatial services.
  • Collaborate with designers, analysts, and data engineers to iterate on user feedback.
  • Support offline-ready experiences across connected and disconnected environments.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience building geospatial or visualization-heavy full-stack applications.
  • Strong experience with TypeScript and React.
  • Experience with Node.js or Python.
  • Experience with Mapbox, MapLibre, or Cesium.
  • Understanding of geospatial formats and projections.
  • Experience with performance optimization for large or complex datasets.
  • Eligible to work in Germany.
  • EU or NATO citizenship and security screening required.
  • German language proficiency at B1+ level is a plus.
  • Experience with offline sync, deck.gl, or NATO symbology is a plus.
