Description

  • Prepare and review statutory financial statements across Latin American and other international jurisdictions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate consolidated financial statements under applicable local accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Provide guidance on complex accounting matters such as revenue recognition, equity compensation, and consolidations.
  • Coordinate external audits and ensure audit readiness and smooth execution.
  • Oversee tax filing coordination with external advisors.
  • Ensure compliance with transfer pricing and inter-company transaction requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize the company’s global tax position as it scales.
  • Lead financial due diligence and planning for entry into new countries, including regulatory, tax, and accounting assessments.
  • Partner with Legal, HR, and Operations to determine entity structures and support compliant setup.
  • Establish and implement a scalable internal control framework and maintain related accounting policies and documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required; CPA is strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, and tax.
  • Experience in Big 4 public accounting and in public or private company environments.
  • Proven experience managing global finance operations and cross-border entity structuring.
  • Deep understanding of US GAAP and exposure to UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Strong knowledge of equity accounting and administration.
  • Demonstrated success implementing internal control frameworks and policy governance.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance detail orientation and big-picture planning.
  • Fluency in business Spanish is preferred.
