Description

  • Design large-scale data processing systems for the core data platform.
  • Work with Product to define requirements and own projects end to end.
  • Analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of applications.
  • Collaborate with distributed teams to architect and deliver new features and functionality.
  • Participate in all phases of agile application development, from requirements through validation and deployment.
  • Identify unnecessary complexity and replace temporary fixes with durable solutions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Java, Scala, or Python development.
  • 3+ years of experience developing Big Data systems.
  • Experience building complex data pipelines with SQL-based transformations using tools such as dbt or Dataform.
  • Experience with large-scale data processing using distributed frameworks such as Apache Spark.
  • Expertise with BigQuery or other data warehouses, including performance tuning and monitoring.
  • Experience with data orchestration tools such as Airflow, including extending pipelines and troubleshooting operational issues.
  • Cloud experience with Google Cloud Platform or AWS, plus Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and other DevOps practices.
  • Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and platforms.
  • Experience with database system design, including RDBMS and/or NoSQL.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, physics, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
  • Communicative Polish and English.
  • SCRUM / Agile environment experience is preferred.
  • Experience in digital media, marketing technology, or advertising technology is a big plus.
  • Ability to develop scalable, modular applications is preferred.
  • Comfort using the right tools and languages for the job, including new ones.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-starter who can independently identify and act on areas of improvement.

  • Employment contract with salary of 23,375–26,125 PLN gross per month or B2B contract at 186–208 PLN net per hour.
