Description

  • Design core experiences used by restaurants, partners, and internal teams to connect to OpenTable.
  • Collaborate with product designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
  • Champion product concepts that balance customer needs with business goals.
  • Plan and facilitate research with restaurant owners and staff to understand their needs.
  • Turn research findings into actionable design direction and evidence-based solutions.
  • Lead workshops with cross-functional partners to align on problems and solutions.
  • Translate design work into measurable outcomes while advocating for the user.
  • Contribute to design work across web-based B2B and complex workflow experiences.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in product design.
  • Experience designing for web.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a breadth of product design work.
  • Experience designing for B2B experiences or solving highly complex workflows.
  • Experience leading and facilitating workshops with cross-functional partners.
  • Experience leading end-to-end user research, including planning, facilitation, and synthesis.
  • Strong visual and interaction design skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and self-direct to deliver on commitments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions.
  • Expertise in Figma and other prototyping tools.
  • Previous onboarding experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with remote teams.
  • Experience incorporating AI into workflows to improve design process and outcomes.
  • Strong curiosity, willingness to learn from others, and openness to feedback.
  • Ability to negotiate, prioritize, and break down design work into measurable outcomes.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $180,000–$200,000 for this U.S.-based role.
