Description

  • Drive design decisions and help shape growth strategy for the team.
  • Use an experimental approach to solve user and business problems.
  • Use data to optimize user experiences for impact.
  • Balance speed with craft, detail, and empathy for users.
  • Own the design process from concept through execution.
  • Bring clarity to broad, ambiguous problems through structured thinking and communication.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and executives.
  • Advocate for strong design decisions while knowing when to disagree and commit.
  • Contribute to the definition and expansion of the design system and design culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a designer, with most of that time in product design.
  • A portfolio demonstrating the ability to handle complexity and create compelling, data-informed experiences that convert.
  • Data fluency and prior success working on growth experiments.
  • Exceptional interaction design and visual design skills.
  • Experience working on a fast-growing team.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and create clarity quickly.
  • Clear, direct communication skills.
  • Self-direction and strong ownership of your work and commitments.
  • Strong critique skills and the ability to give and receive feedback well.
  • AI literacy, with comfort working in an AI-influenced environment.
  • At least 2 of the following stand-out skills: building or working on a creation tool; working on a mature design system; accessibility expertise; designer-led user research; prototyping with code; improving design processes; UI animation; designing for AI/ML-powered projects.
