Description

  • Design core experiences used by restaurants, partners, and internal teams to connect to OpenTable.
  • Collaborate with product designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver scalable product solutions.
  • Champion product concepts that balance customer needs with business goals.
  • Plan and facilitate research with restaurant owners and staff to understand user needs.
  • Translate research findings into actionable, evidence-based design direction.
  • Lead and facilitate workshops with cross-functional partners.
  • Work across complex B2B workflows and integrations to improve the product experience.
  • Break down design work into measurable outcomes while advocating for the user.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in product design.
  • Experience designing for web.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a breadth of product design work.
  • Experience designing B2B experiences or solving highly complex workflows.
  • Experience leading and facilitating workshops with cross-functional partners.
  • Experience leading end-to-end user research, including planning, facilitation, and synthesis.
  • Strong visual and interaction design skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and self-direct against agreed commitments.
  • Previous experience with integrations and APIs is a plus.
  • Expertise in Figma and other prototyping tools.
  • Experience working with remote teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to incorporate AI into workflows to improve design process and outcomes.
  • Ability to negotiate, prioritize, and break down design work while advocating for the user.
  • Curiosity, willingness to learn from others, and openness to feedback from stakeholders and peers.
