Description

  • Own the full product creation cycle for new ventures, from discovery and definition through scoping, architecture, build, testing, launch, and iteration.
  • Translate founder vision and advisor input into clear product specifications and working software.
  • Use AI-driven development tools as the primary build method while applying engineering rigor to review, test, and debug outputs.
  • Make key architecture decisions across data models, integrations, infrastructure, and technical tradeoffs.
  • Validate ideas before building through prototypes, user testing, and direct conversations with founders and early customers.
  • Ensure production quality through QA, debugging, monitoring, and reliability practices.
  • Coordinate additional Oowlish engineers as ventures grow beyond a single builder.
  • Collaborate with company partners and vertical advisors to guide execution while owning delivery.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree, ideally in Computer Science; other engineering disciplines are also welcome.
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, with experience shipping complete user-facing products.
  • Full-stack experience preferred.
  • 2+ years in a Product Management role owning discovery, prioritization, and delivery.
  • Daily experience using agentic coding tools and the ability to show a product built primarily with them.
  • Startup experience working in an early-stage environment with ambiguity and fast pace.
  • Professional working English, with direct communication with US-based founders and advisors.
  • Based in Latin America.
  • Founder or co-founder experience, including ventures that did not work out, is strongly preferred.
  • Experience taking a product from zero to first paying customers is strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to outcome-based or value-based business models is strongly preferred.
