Description

  • Design, build, maintain, and execute automated regression test suites.
  • Develop automated tests for log and metric ingestion pipelines.
  • Validate search, query, tracing, alerting, and audit functionality across end-to-end flows.
  • Validate Infrastructure as Code deployments for reproducibility and clean-state execution.
  • Execute and help design load, scalability, and failure-injection testing against performance targets.
  • Run regression testing across multiple versions and environments in parallel.
  • Identify, document, triage, track, and verify defects and fixes.
  • Collaborate with the Test Architect and engineering teams to improve regression coverage.
  • Maintain clear automation code and testing documentation.
  • Provide regression evidence and quality status updates during sprint reviews.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience as an SDET, Test Automation Engineer, QA Automation Engineer, or similar technical testing role.
  • Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated test suites.
  • Strong API testing and API automation experience.
  • Strong scripting skills for technical validation and automation.
  • Experience with load and/or performance testing tools.
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based environments, including AWS.
  • Experience testing complex backend, infrastructure-heavy, data-intensive, or distributed systems.
  • Working knowledge of Terraform-deployed environments and Infrastructure as Code concepts.
  • Working knowledge of OpenTelemetry-based systems and distributed tracing concepts.
  • Experience working with formal acceptance criteria, Agile processes, and Definition of Done (DoD).
  • Experience with Jira or similar issue-tracking tools.
  • Previous experience testing observability platforms, alerting workflows, audit trails, or CI/CD-integrated regression suites is preferred.
