Description

  • Oversee revenue recognition processes in accordance with ASC 606 and company policies.
  • Perform monthly revenue close procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Review customer contracts for accurate billing, revenue recognition, and reporting treatment.
  • Analyze deferred revenue and ensure appropriate accounting treatment.
  • Prepare schedules and documentation to support financial audits.
  • Improve revenue processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support implementation and optimization of revenue accounting systems.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of ASC 606 and US GAAP.
  • Experience overseeing revenue recognition processes.
  • Experience with monthly close procedures, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Ability to review customer contracts for billing and revenue recognition.
  • Experience analyzing deferred revenue.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting financial audits and internal controls.
  • Experience with CRM and general ledger tools is relevant to the role.
