Description

  • Lead and develop the data organization across analytics, data engineering, and business intelligence.
  • Set the data roadmap in partnership with Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Own the design and evolution of the data platform, pipelines, models, and reporting infrastructure.
  • Oversee a modern data stack including Databricks, Looker, AWS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Terraform, SQL, and Python.
  • Deliver high-quality dashboards, reporting, self-serve analytics, and data products that support decision-making.
  • Build scalable data pipelines that integrate internal systems, operational workflows, medical imaging systems, EMRs, SQL databases, and external APIs.
  • Establish standards for data modeling, metric definitions, governance, documentation, quality, observability, and access controls.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to embed analytics into workflows and support data-driven product development.
  • Help the business measure operational performance, customer outcomes, funnel conversion, and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure the data function follows strong security, privacy, auditability, and HIPAA-aligned practices.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in data, analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Meaningful experience leading teams in startup or growth-stage environments.
  • Strong technical foundation in data architecture, pipeline design, warehousing or lakehouse patterns, BI, and analytics.
  • Experience with Databricks, SparkSQL, PySpark, Looker, AWS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Terraform, SQL, and Python.
  • Track record of building scalable data systems and analytics capabilities that improve business performance.
  • Experience defining metrics, building data models, and creating reporting layers that teams trust and use.
  • Ability to balance speed, quality, maintainability, and business impact.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent people management skills, including coaching, hiring, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Healthcare or regulated-data experience is a plus, especially with HIPAA, EMR integrations, medical imaging data, or sensitive operational workflows.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $170,000 to $210,000.
  • Eligibility for an equity incentive plan.
