Description

  • Design, build, maintain, and support internal Retool applications for business workflows and operations.
  • Troubleshoot issues in existing Retool apps to maintain high availability and performance.
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional application features.
  • Develop automations and integrations that extend the Retool ecosystem.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions to define scope, objectives, and acceptance criteria.
  • Perform SOX-compliant testing and user acceptance testing for new and updated systems.
  • Create and maintain technical and user-facing documentation, including process flows, specifications, and test plans.
  • Ensure change management procedures are followed and audit trails are maintained.
  • Support Microsoft Fabric data engineering work, including pipeline development, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Help build analytics solutions, dashboards, and reporting workflows, and support the Manager of DevOps across infrastructure, tooling, and project delivery.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in an IT developer, analyst, or similar technical role.
  • Experience with web or application development; Retool experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience conducting UAT or other testing; SOX experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with requirements gathering and writing technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or a similar programming language.
  • Moderate to advanced SQL experience.
  • Experience working in a source-controlled environment; Azure DevOps and CI/CD experience are strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouses, pipelines, and notebooks.
  • Experience with REST APIs and building or consuming third-party integrations.
  • Experience with Power Automate or other RPA tools.
  • Background in a DevOps or IT support function.
  • Industry experience in CPG, Retail, or Manufacturing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT, with practical experience integrating them into workflows.
  • Must reside in the United States and be 18 years or older at the time of application; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% for occasional company or department meetings.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, and work independently with strong attention to detail.

  • Salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually for this full-time exempt role.
