Description

  • Build accessible, performant, and reliable frontend components for millions of users across multiple markets.
  • Use AI development agents to accelerate technical delivery, reduce boilerplate, and maintain codebase health.
  • Maintain component documentation, type definitions, and test suites for effective team and AI-agent collaboration.
  • Write comprehensive automated tests, conduct code reviews, and debug production issues.
  • Ensure strong user experience, web performance, security, reliability, and application architecture.
  • Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to translate product specifications into engineering tasks and user interfaces.
  • Own frontend systems end to end under a “you build it, you run it, you own it” approach.
  • Participate in internal learning sessions and share AI-driven frontend development practices with peers.

Requirements

  • Hands-on proficiency in TypeScript, React, Next.js or React Router, and Node.js.
  • Experience integrating AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent into daily development workflows.
  • Ability to review, test, refactor, and take accountability for the quality, security, and performance of AI-generated code.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and practices, including Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, and end-to-end testing.
  • Ability to provide AI agents with clear constraints, component boundaries, and context to generate accurate UI code.
  • Understanding of frontend systems end to end and willingness to own production outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering, SRE, product, and design teams.
  • Willingness to work remotely from Portugal and submit an application in English.
